[Latin-America] Fwd: [cc-affiliates] Help/input wanted for a mini-grant project: become an evaluator!

Saludos!

Subject: [cc-affiliates] Help/input wanted for a mini-grant project: become
an evaluator!
To: cc affiliates <cc-affiliates at lists.ibiblio.org>

Hello all,

very soon, we will launch a mini-grant project (it will have a catchier
name, promise!) - providing funds for affiliate teams worldwide to work on
projects, events and to facilitate affiliate travel.

At this point, we have a draft application procedure ready, but before we
go live,* I would like to round up 5 to 10 people to take part in a small
committee that will, together with HQ and RCs, participate in the
evaluation process once we go live. *

Ideally, we would like to have one or two evaluators per region.

As the proposal (based on previous projects) is now ready for a final
commenting phase and we would like to go live with the mini-grant
application process in early April, I would like to form this committee as
soon as possible (as in: next week). Of course, participation in the
committee should not stop you or your team to apply for funding - we'll
make sure that this will not interfere.

The engagement from committee members would be the following:
- participate in at least one evaluation cycle, the first one being at the
end of April. As the application procedure will be rather lightweight, we
will try to minimize the burden for the evaluators as well.
- additionally, I'd like to ask those on the committee to take a final look
at the application procedure as well - to make sure I didn't overlook
anything.

*I'd like to have a team formed before March 24 - so please reply asap if
you are interested. *

Thank you very much for your help, it is much appreciated!

 Best
Gwen
